- Vattenfall CEO Lars G. Josefsson in his letter to Hans-Josef Fell, Member of the German Bundestag from May 15, 2001: - "(…) Apart from that, it should be noted, that Horno and LAUBAG are in negotiations for socially-acceptable resettlement since November 2001, and that the most important contracts have already been signed."(Original in German) - Berliner Morgenpost (15.11.2001) on a discussion with Laubag spokesman Peter Fromm: - "Almost all Hornoer have long ago signed contracts for building plots at the resettlement site (...), said Fromm."(Original in German) - The truth is: As of November 15, 2001, not one of those sixty families, who would move to Forst if in the last resort Horno cannot be saved, has signed a contract with LAUBAG. All that has happened, in the best interests of the people concerned, is that in June 2001 entries were made in the land registry, securing their entitlement to a particular plot of land in Forst. This land registry entry commits them, however, to nothing. |
